With some rough ideas about creating a ‘cosy courtyard’ sort of garden area, my husband and I called Steve and asked him to do a concept plan for the work.  He was very enthusiastic about the project and had lots of good ideas from the start.  Throughout the project Steve was easy to communicate with, adaptable to our evolving ideas, knowledgeable about the plants and materials best suited for our site, and supportive of my interest in completing some of the work myself.  The finished product looks fantastic, and as a bonus the project came in under budget by quite a significant amount!  We look forward to working with Steve again on future projects.      Ann & Jason, Bayswater

When an old hedge was taken out, we were left with a long narrow area that received plenty of sun. We thought raised vegetable beds would be a good solution but had no idea how it might look and how to go about it.
Enter Steve Gustafson! After a preliminary discussion Steve came back with a garden design, which we approved.The end result is extremely satisfying,we have had many compliments and have had a summer of salads, herbs and other greens.

I commissioned Steve to beautify a rather unimaginative area outside my automotive repair centre in Milford. He had excellent advice on choice of plants, positioning and materials to be used. Steve prepared the site, removed rubbish (whilst nursing a heavy dose of flu) and got the area planted within the said time and costing proposal. The end result looks great – many a favourable comment has been received by my customers. We used Natural Gardens for a project we had been putting off from doing ourselves as the task looked too difficult – it required loads of cleaning up, replanting, adding new plants to create privacy and some hard mulch to prevent top soil washing away with the rain. And all of course with an “easy to maintain” brief.

I have known Steve Gustafsson offer a period of many years and find him a very pleasant hard working person. Steve spent time with us discussing a range of options for our garden plans. He allowed us to explain what we wanted to achieve and then presented us with several alternatives which suited our tastes and budget. He was very flexible with his plans which allowed us to pick and choose the elements of the project to suit our circumstances.
